Marlene is a character appearing in Season 4 of Killjoys. She is portrayed by actress Karen Glave.
Biography[]
Marlene is an assassin who operates in the J Star Cluster, particularly in The Quad. She arranged for Johnny and Dutch to move cargo to Westerley, which unbeknownst to them contained a deadly poison she had hidden in the cargo for use in one of her operations. Marlene was to kill a high-ranking person at a secret party on Qresh. She was stopped by the Dutch and Johnny so the two could be cleared of smuggling charges by The Company and the RAC. Johnny was poisoned in the process of capturing her. Marlene had refused to provide the antidote for the poison and Dutch was preparing to use torture to interrogate her, when at the last minute Marlene changed her mind and provided what was needed to save Johnny. Marlene was turned over to the RAC and sent to prison.[1]
